12 Ways to get away from ragging

As we all know that ragging is totally banned, but still in many of the colleges & school ragging still going on illegally.

Here are the ways, which can save you from ragging in any college & school. Just try any one of the options given below, depending upon the type of senior & situation.

1) Friendly nature- your skill of making friends easily can save you.
Try to do friendship with your seniors, as they will help you in every situation in the future.
 e.g.- they will tell you the imp. Questions before exams.. Will review  teachers.. Will you unlimited treats, etc.

2) Relatives/parents working in the same institute - if you tell this to your seniors while giving your introduction to him, then few seniors will  always be afraid to touch you again.

Or tell brother/sister studying at the same institute.

3) Excuse making skill- if you are good at making excuses 
e.g.- suffering from fever, diarrhea,headache/migraine
- Some  senior/teacher has called you urgently
-Your parents are going  to visit you 

4) Crying - sometime crying can help you to escape from ragging, BUT only from the emotional type of seniors

5) Boldness - if you are bold enough then sometime you can scare your seniors from crossing the limits. 
E.g-by blackmailing them about reporting the issue to the police station.

As juniors are always having the advantage of being minority, even if junior lie about his ragging, everyone believes him/her. But to senior no-one cares for his explanation/truth. But as a junior no-one should misuse this power, because it can destroy someone's future.

6) Phone calls - parent's/relatives phone call during the time of ragging can give you a temporary relief at that time.

7) Become dumb & boring- when seniors find you boring or dumb they get irritated/frustrated with you, then they leave you early & won’t call you again. As they always want to get entertainment.

8) Getting help from super-seniors to escape from your senior.

9) Impress your senior with your goodness -like humbleness... Respecting him...obediently following

10) Flatter the seniors (buttering)- with many seniors this formula works.

11) avoid staying in hostel-

this is a another method to avoid the problem, when you can't face it . e.g.- you can become a day scholar, can spend more time safe places like the library, friend's/relative's home,etc.

12) Ignore senior & run away- this is helpful if you have a big campus and a big batch of classmates , e.g- engineering college.

So whenever any senior calls you, firstly ignore him,then you just hide your face & run away, Actually, in this senior won't run after you to scold you , as his dignity & respect comes in between. And if next time he finds you, say you don't remember or deny the charges.

Message:-
Ragging is not that bad when it is there within a certain limit as it makes you rough & tough, teaches you a lot, gives mental stamina & checks/improves your skills.
But seniors need to understand that everyone doesn't have the same level of endurance & patience, so whatever hard time your seniors gave you during your time, there is no need for it to transfer it to our juniors, because with time everything changes & be a part of the change.

When ragging crosses its limit like physical handling or harassment of rights, then you shouldn't remain quiet. Before taking any stupid step. Firstly,you should have the guts to tell this to your seniors that you didn't like it or you won't do that whatever they are saying, at that point of time only, but say it politely.

Then ask help from your friends & then don't hesitate to report this issue with your parents, to institute & to the police station.
Because ragging is a crime..!!
This is your life...live the way you want..don't live in any fear/torture.
